Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: June 13, 2026

Last Updated: May 13, 2026

RaddyAnnaas is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to guarantee that our free typing and grammar tools are inclusive and usable by the widest possible audience.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

RaddyAnnaas strives to align with WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines where feasible. However, due to the highly interactive and visual nature of our custom typing dashboard and JavaScript-heavy animations, some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve accessibility across all features.

2. Accessibility Features Implemented

We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility on our platform:

  • High Contrast Design: Our space-themed dark mode utilizes high-contrast neon colors (cyan, purple, green, pink) against dark backgrounds to ensure text readability for users with low vision.
  • Clear Typography: We use legible, sans-serif and monospace fonts (Space Grotesk, Inter, JetBrains Mono) with appropriate line spacing and font sizing.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Core navigation links and buttons are accessible via keyboard (Tab key navigation).
  • Semantic HTML: We use proper HTML5 semantic tags (header, nav, main, section, footer, h1-h6) to provide structure for screen readers.
  • No Auto-playing Audio: We do not use auto-playing audio that could interfere with screen reader software.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of RaddyAnnaas, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations:

  • Typing Demo Animation: The interactive 3D spaceship cockpit dashboard on the homepage relies heavily on visual cues (keys lighting up) and rapid JavaScript DOM manipulation, which may not be fully perceivable by screen readers.
  • Typing Speed Test Tool: By its very nature, a timed typing speed test requires visual-motor coordination and manual dexterity. It may not be fully usable by individuals with severe visual impairments or significant motor disabilities.
  • Canvas Elements: Background animations (like shooting stars) are decorative and do not have text equivalents, though they do not convey essential information.

4. Future Improvements

We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our site. Planned future updates include:

  • Adding comprehensive ARIA labels to the typing test interface.
  • Implementing a toggle to disable all background animations (shooting stars, pulsing lights) for users with vestibular disorders or ADHD.
  • Improving focus states for all interactive elements.

5. Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of RaddyAnnaas. If you encounter accessibility barriers on our site, or if you need assistance using our tools, please contact us. We try to respond to feedback within 3 business days.
